BAPA FoodPro Int’l Expo kicks off

The 10th BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2025 has officially commenced with a three-day event. The fair was inaugurated on Tuesday morning at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital.
As the largest exhibition of the country’s processed food industry, the event will be open to all daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
In addition to the exhibition, the event features technical sessions where industry experts from both local and international backgrounds will be present. A business matching session will also be arranged, allowing local businesses to connect with participating companies.
Over 200 companies from 22 countries, including the USA, India, China, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Australia, will showcase their products and services at the expo.
The event is organised by the Bangladesh Agro Processors Association (BAPA) in collaboration with Rainbow Exhibitions and Event Management Services Limited (REEMS).
At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Anwar Hossain, Ambassador of Italy to Bangladesh Antonio Alessandro, Deputy Ambassador of the Netherlands Thijs Woodstra, and Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy Song Yang were present.
Also in attendance were the Chairman and CEO of Pran-RFL Group, Ahsan Khan Chowdhury; BAPA President Md Abul Hashem; General Secretary Md Iktadul Haque; Convener of Agro Bangladesh Expo Anwar Faruq; Managing Director of REEMS Bangladesh Chanmohan Saha; and senior officials from BAPA.
